A short loan until December for the Ireland midfielder

You might remember Connor Ronan, a technically gifted midfielder who in 2019 made such an impression on Kevin De Bruyne that the Man City megastar sought out the 19-years-old to swap shirts with him after his side’s FA Cup tie with Wolves. Ronan was an established Irish U21 and was called up to the senior Ireland squad following a fine loan spell at St. Mirren in 2021/22. In January 2023 Ronan (then 25) left on a 4-year contract with MLS side Colorado Rapids and his profile among Irish fans and media has to all intents and purpose hit the floor in interim.
