Another young Irishman has joined Hull City
The ranks of Irish players at Hull has swelled over the last couple of days with the arrival of John Egan from Burnley and young defender Cathal McCarthy from UCD. And the Tigers have raided the first division side again with 18-year-old striker Hugh Parker joining the club's academy on a two-and-a-half year deal. The Greystones born attacker has made 34 senior appearances for UCD and was also involved in the the club's run in the UEFA Youth League last year. He hasn't played at any level at underage for Ireland but was part of the FAI School Squad last year. He will initially link up with Hull's U21 squad. An exciting time for Hugh and a new striker to keep an eye on going forward. ☘️
