Jimmy Dunne made the move from Burnley to QPR exactly four years ago and despite him being covered by other Championship sides signed up at Loftus Road until the summer of 2027 last month. Sheffield United had tabled a bid for the 27-year-old Dundalk man in January and the feeling had been that the Blades would be calling around again.
