John Egan is a Tiger

Well we always knew he was tigerish but 32-year-old John Egan joining Hull City from Burnley on a permanent deal just proves it. It just hasn’t really happened for the Ireland defender at the Clarets with just 7 appearances this season, six as substitute and only one start so he needed to try something new and Championship side Hull City is not a bad place to turn over a new leaf. The Cork man will hook up with another defender from his home county in Sean McLoughlin and they have the makings of a formidable pairing. Egan signed an 18-month contract with an option for a further year. ☘️
