From time to time (daily!) I get a small dig about the coverage that we give Evan Ferguson and his loan spell at Roma (Lecce away at 5pm today folks, ok stop!). In other words there more than enough progress reports for a young striker turning things around under the gaze of a wily old Italian. But Irish adventures in Italy don’t start and end with Ferguson for there is a trio of young Irish making headway in one of the biggest football countries in the world. What follows is a look at how Liam Kerrigan, Ed McJannet and Senan Mullen are doing beyond the bright lights of Serie A.
